At Black Scientists Initiative, we strive to empower aspiring scientists in the Black community by connecting them with black experts in their desired field to provide them with a role model and increase their motivation and progression in that field.
ABOUT
With science being a white-dominated field, here at BSI, we are driven by two goals: diversifying science fields and empowering the black community. When thinking about how to do that best, where better to start than with the youth? Matching aspiring black scientists with black mentors in their desired field will not only advance them in that field, but provide them with a role model that looks like them. At BSI, we believe every young person deserves to see a reflection of themselves in their dream career.
