DANIELLE STUKES

Chemist

I am from Marietta, GA and graduated from the University of Alabama in 2011 with my Bachelors of Science in Chemistry and minor in Mathematics. I’ve spent the last 10 years working as a Chemist in various chemical industries. Since 2014, I have worked as a Battelle contractor at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention where I analyze human urine, blood, and serum for toxic and nutritional metals using Inductively Coupled Plasma-Mass Spectrometers and assist with new method development projects.

In my spare time (Pre-COVID), I enjoyed attending concerts, kayaking, traveling, and running obstacle course races. In recent months, I’ve learned to code, put my library card to great use reading lots of novels, and completing puzzles.
