Biological Engineer

Growing up, I enjoyed math and science classes. I'd always do those homeworks first and reveled in the new concepts I'd learn in Biology, Tech, etc. That being said, I decided that engineering was the best field for me; it allowed me to join together my love for these STEM-related subjects. Fast forward to the present: I have since graduated from Cornell University with a B.S. in Biological Engineering. I've worked in technology consulting, UX/UI design, and Product; and I am currently a COO for a healthcare startup where we are building a VR game for treatment of ADHD. Outside of work, I enjoy sports activities, dancing, and every so often reading a good book. My advice for anyone who is interested in pursuing a similar path is: "Don't back down." There were many times when I felt that I didn't think I could do it, however, my "grit" helped me through those tough times. I truly believe the will to succeed is one of your strongest assets! Own it and blaze that trail! Just because it hasn't been done doesn't mean it's impossible.
